You’re taking a bite out of SoCal history when you eat at NORMS. The restaurant chain was one of the first of its kind to open 24/7–serving breakfast all day–when it debuted in 1949.
Late founder and innovator Norm Roybark, a Los Angeles native, started NORMS near the famed Hollywood corner of Sunset and Vine, and the concept grew from there.
There are more than a dozen NORMS Restaurants in California today. Among them is the Downey location on the corner of Firestone and Paramount, run by General Manager Nancy Cook and Executive Chef/Assistant Manager Danny Hurtado.
