Norms is a very special place for my love and I. If it was not for norms I would not know her and would not be getting married this june. Weddings are very expensive so eating out lately is not an option. We miss your great food and wonderful sevice. So when making your decision keep us in mind! thank you. P.S. Missing the triple double cheeseburger!
  • I have always wanted to try Norms but never got the chance. I'd be so glad if I win this and if I do win thats means... I'll have to ask a guy on a date (: I have never been on a date and whoo! im getting excited thinking about this (: Norms seems like the perfect place, i might not spend Valentine's Day alone this yearr! ^^

i would like to bring my sweetheart to norms on valentines day because it was one of the first places we went to 6 years ago when we met. since then, we have taken our 3 children there to celebrate birthdays, graduations and even valentines day. norms is a part of our family tradition.

I came to Ca. from Boston Mass. for Navy boot camp back in Feb. 1977. My Dad met me at the airport and the first place he took me to eat was Norms, a fond memory. This was a great tasting meal, as well as a great deal. I married a very special Ca. girl and here it is 24 years later, and still love her to death. I don't know how many times we have been to Norms over the years, but usually if we see one we stop. I would just love to be able to win and take her to Norms for Valentine's Day and add another memory that includes Norms.

My husband and I had divorced a few years ago and we just got remarried last March (much to the thrill of our 7 y.o. daughter). It would be wonderful to go out for our first Valentines Day since getting back together (which we weren't going to do due to financial hardship). We may lose our house, but at least our stomach's will be full!

I don't think I'll have a valentine this year (I'm working on my better half - ME!), but no matter......hey, a free filet dinner by myself at one of my favorite restaurants....I'll just take the 2nd one to go for the next night. Nothing wrong with spending time alone and sharing the love on yourself. It's always important to enjoy oneself and remember to love yourself!

My husband has had a terrible year in 2009. He gave up the good life in Lake Tahoe to move down South to support his daughter, son-in-law, and four grandchildren...He has struggled with finding and losing five different jobs in one year (due to the bad economy)...Not through any fault of his own ! He has had the weight on his shoulders and can't even afford to eat out at his favourite restaurant anymore (Norm's). He needs to know that he is loved and appreciated...I can't take him out to dinner because I do not have a job anymore and can't find another one...Please let this wonderful man know that he is a very
    "SPECIAL" human being...!!!

While I would love to win a dinner with my fiance at Norm's for a special Valentine's Day dinner together, it seems that there are other couples who are much more deserving. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. <3

Being a stay at home mom I have limited funds but the prices at Norms are so affordable that I can take my whole family there on Valentines day without making a big dent in my bank account.

I would like to win this Valentine Prize to take my dad. He introduced us to Norms in 1969 at the North Torrance location. He likes to receive Gift Cards to Norms so he can go with his buddies sometimes, when we are not available to join him. We have been avid customers for decades and I would like to surprise my dad on Valentines by winning this contest.

He will really be pleased should we win and I get to take him to his favorite Restaurant.

I want to take my girlfriend to Norms on Valentine's because she is vegan and that means TWO DINNERS FOR ME!

(I'll take her to a vegan restaurant first.)
  • Sherrie
I'd like to take my Dad,who has been a real sweetheart in being there when I needed him-he took care of me 24-7 when I had major leg surgery and couldn't walk for a little over a year-I couldn't even get my own cup of coffee. He never complained, never was grouchy or impatient. He cooked, cleaned, did laundry and shopping. He's been a blessing over my lifetime & always there when I had to have a helping hand.

I would love to take my honey to Norm's on Valentines Day. Hopefully I can maeuver from the Terrific Trio to a Thrilling Threesome.

beacuse my husband and I met at the Orange location! I dropped my scarf, and he got up from his table to pick it up and chase me out of the dining room to give it back to me. It was love at first sight. Seven years ago we were married and are living our "happily ever after"!

  • brekwilliams
I eat at Norm's all the time. I am literally across the street from it. Valentine's day is the one year anniversary of my girlfriend and I being together. She loves Norm's, and we love the waiters and waitresses, and there's no better place to be than Norm's with your favorite person.
  • Judy
Norms is where my boyfriend and I had our first date, and it holds special memories for us. Every time we come here, we are reminded that throughout the hard times and the distance apart (different colleges), we can still spend time together at our local Norms while enjoying our dinner when we are back home.

Should I be so blessed to be the winner
    Of the Norms Valentine dinner...
I would take the love of my life
    My beautiful, loving, caring wife
We would dine on shrimp, steak and love
I would eat to my heat's content, with my precious Dove
And for dessert, I would eat that fudge cake thing
Then I would turn to Maria, and from heart I would sing.
"Baby, you're the greatest thing that has ever happened to me!"

You know those old couples you see that are regulars to a restaurant and have the same table and have made that restaurant their tradition? Well my sweetheart and I have made Norm's our tradition. Either way we will be at Norm's for Valentine's Day. But it would be wonderful to surprise him with this special chance to have Norm's treat us for being part of their family. <3

I don't have anyone special for valentines day yet, but I would love to ask someone to Norms if I win. Norms is one of my favorite restaurants to dine out at. Me and my friends have been eating there for a while after events. Norms has excellent food at great prices and they have wonderful service. I would love to take someone special to norms on valentines day. :)

This will be me and my boyfriends very first valentine's day together. We have truly been through a lot and i think this dinner would be perfect because norms is a bit of a tradition for us. Anytime we go to a concert or play or even just a date that happens to be near a norms we make it part of our trip to go. So norm's holds a bit of memories for us.. so please pick me!

I'd love a Valentine's Day at Norm's. By winning, it would give me an incentive to actually find a date.
  • Heather F.
I have grown up going to Norms in Van Nuys. I love the family feel that it offers, as well as the great food! I would love to take my Valentine there to share special moments at such a great place! My partner lost her job and we have been struggling for almost a year to survive. A complimentary meal at Norms would make this Valentine's Day 100% special, and one to remember. Thank you.
  • Nick
My wife loves Norms! What better place to take her on Valentine's Day??????
  • miabsanders
Well, I love Norms for one and the atmostpher is wonderful. The food is excellent and I would love to share this Valentine at Norms with my hun. We live in the desert so it would give us a reason to get out of here for the evening. My hubby is always busy working and providing that we usually just do not get a chance to get out together and enjoy. It would be so awesome to have this opportunity to wine and dine, only at Norms. :0)
  • Jackie
I would absolutely love to share a Valentines meal with my husband, we haven't shared a Valentines meal for 5 years due to his work schedule. As it happens, he DOES have Sundays off, it is our only day off together all week. Good luck to all the contestants, including ME...lol
  • esthercoronel
I DON'T HAVE A BOYFRIEND RIGHT NOW BUT MY SPECIAL VALENTINE IS MY COUSIN CATHY. I LOST MY MOM FOUR MONTHS AGO AND SHE WAS THERE FOR ME LIKE NO ONE ELSE. SHE'S GIVEN ME A PLACE TO STAY, AND HELPED ME WITH MY KIDS. SHE'S BEEN MY ROCK AND I DON'T THINK I COULD THROUGH THIS IF IT WASN'T FOR HER.
  • I would LOVE to have Valentines Day dinner with my husband at Norms. We are pregnant with our first baby and it seems like such a nice, comfortable, low key place to be – while snuggled in a round booth with my husband. Perfect for our last Valentines day as a couple! (…..before we are a family of course) :)
