What does British comedy and Spam have to do with anything? Not much. That’s the point to Monty Python’s Spam A Lot, a musical based on the hugely popular British cult film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. When the musical came to the Orange County Performance Arts Center in Costa Mesa, I had to attend.

It is a hysterical show full of surprises, not to mention great acting. The story revolves around King Arthur and his quest to find the Holy Grail. There are references to current events and a satirical look at life in general. I won’t spoil the ending, but it has to be seen to be believed!

Trust NORM, you will laugh so hard, you will fall out of your seat – I did. Don’t miss it when it comes to town next time.

The best part of the night was after the show we all went to NORMS Costa Mesa for some great steaks, big laughs and had money left in our pockets to go see Zombieland. Gotta love NORMS great food and great deals!
